I am reminded of it when you say, Judy, "My resolution has been partly to find buddies, to make it less lonely and more joyful and fun. But haven't been terribly successful at that, yet." Throughout the story of Francis, he passes from acceptance and friendship to rejection and criticism--back and forth. I struggle continually with fear of being rejected if I'm too 'serious' or 'intense'...My resolution has been partly to find buddies, to make it less lonely and more joyful and fun. But haven't been terribly successful at that, yet.
